COVID-19 Update
Facilitating care in a designated service agency with a structured care program

For individuals who prefer out-of-home and time-limited care and support provided at facilities, we have a structured, intensive, and coordinated acute treatment program, also known as Intensive Day Treatment, that works in maintaining their independence and helping them develop social connections for a better sense of growth. Offering individualized, strengths-based, active, and timely treatment programs, Intensive Day Treatment is provided to individuals who possess no real danger to themselves or the people around them but have serious mental struggles that prevent them from living a life of their choosing.

This treatment program includes:

  • Psychiatric care
  • Medical care
  • Nursing services
  • Social work
  • Occupational therapy
  • Medication and somatic treatment
  • Timely crisis intervention
  • Psychiatric stabilization

Please note that these services are rendered only in the setting of a DMH-certified Community Mental Health Rehabilitation Services Agency and are not eligible for reimbursement when provided in the home, community setting, or residential facility of 16 beds or less. These will only be provided in an ambulatory setting for no less than five hours a day, seven days a week.
